We all know drinking water is important for our health as well as our weight loss goals. If you don’t like drinking plain old water then try making a crisp and refreshing fruit infused water that will make drinking water a breeze.

How to make Fruit and Herb Infused Water

Making a fruit infused water does not really require a recipe. You can make it out of any fruits, herbs and even vegetables you may have at any given time. Whether it is summer or winter making an infused water drink is super simple and healthy too.

Here are a few herb and fruit infused water recipes that you can enjoy!

Strawberry Lemon


  • 5 large strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • 10-15 basil leaves
  • 4 cups of water

Blueberry Orange


  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 5 cups of water

Watermelon Mint


  • 2 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 10-15 mint leaves
  • 4-5 cups of water

Citrus Cucumber


  • 1/2 lemon or lime, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 4 cups of water

Grapefruit Rosemary


  • 1 grapefruit, sliced
  • 2 tbsp rosemary
  • 4 cups of water

Apple Cinnamon


  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups of water



Add all ingredients into a jar or pitcher and fill with water. Allow 2-8 hours in the refrigerator, for best tasting results leave in refrigerator overnight.  Feel free to change these recipes to your taste and preference. If you like a more potent and stronger tasting drink, just add some more herbs and fruits.
